Welcome to a new section of the ipswich Youth Lacrosse website, where we will update the lacrosse careers of several Ipswich Youth Lacrosse graduates who have moved on to play lacrosse at a higher level.

Women:

Ipswich Girls Lacrosse has graduated to HS and to College a number of girls that have gone on to play at the next Level. This year, Nyra Constant is finishing out her college career as a D1 Player at Coastal Carolina, where, until now she is the only player in that team's (The Chanticleers) history to have started and played in all games of that teams history. This happens because she was recruited in their inaugural class four years ago and has made a constant (no pun) contribution. Four years and a starter for every game is incredible.  Congratulations Nyra!

We also have great news for four 2015 IHS Graduates. Ellie Swenson, Eliza Statile, Keegan Hughes and Joanna Perry have embarked on their college lacrosse careers with official games in the books over the last two weeks. Elle notched her fist goal, Eliza made her first save and JP and Keegan will soon be making the box score light up for sure.

Men:

The boys also have a number of alumni who are currently playing at the college level. Chris McCormack is a junior at division 2 St. Anselm's College in New Hampshire. He became the starting face off specialist in his sophomore season replacing former senior Chris Steele who also played youth lacrosse in Ipswich. Jamie Iwanicki is a sophomore at Centenary College in New Jersey. He is a starting midfielder for the Cyclones and started a number of games as a freshman scoring 5 goals .

From the division three north championship team from 2015, both Eliot Bates and Jeff Statile are playing for Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Although the Buccaneers have only had one game so far this season, a win, both former Tigers saw action and look to have a great future.
